Our shake down camping trip to make sure everything is working after sitting idle all winter was a great success. We spent a couple days at Lake Loramie State Park. Everything is working great, we had great weather, There was only three or four campers in the in tire campground, and we had an afternoon visit from friends Kristie and John Wilson. Moe had a great time watching the birds and squirles. He evan crawled up onto my lap and gave me a few feline tips on how to relax. We could not have had a better start to our camping season.
Moe wants to know what happened. He took a nap and his tree is different. The balls and dangles and lights are all gone. And where’s train and tree skirt? He’s going to be real depressed in a little while when I box up the tree. And then we settle into the cold winter gloomy doldrums of winter for about the next two and a half months. Moe can’t wait for camping season.
Moe has had a very busy September making two personal appearances. He visited one of his favorite campgrounds at Lake Loramie State Park for a couple days. He had several long walks around the campground (keeping an eye out for dogs), and enjoyed sitting around the campfire. Then Moe headed to Lake Erie, and East Harbor State Park. He spent a lot of time sitting in his favorite camp chair, and met several new fans. Early in October Moe is going to Mohican State Park close to Loudonville, Ohio. If you’re close, stop by and say hi. Moe is always eager to greet his fans.
Last week Moe made a personal appearance in Shipshewana, Indiana. He got to meet a few of his fans and enjoyed relaxing around the camper patio. The pictures show Moe catching a few morning rays in his lawn chair. Moe enjoys getting away for a few days and mingling with his fans, but he thought the ride home was a little long. Moe and I are in the process of planning out next adventure.
Moe made a personal appearance at Lake Loramie State Park on the 4th of July. We arrived on the 4th and left on Friday before the storms. It rained Thursday morning and Moe and I spent some time under the awning listening to the rain, sharing a can of Pringles Potato Chips, and enjoying the fresh air. His buddy Bennett joined us Thursday afternoon for his first camping experience. Moe showed him the ropes of camping, and how to relax. Moe joined us around the campfire for Smores (Moe passed on the Smores, he prefers tuna), and everybody had a great time. We’re all looking forward to the next camping adventure with Moe.
Moe made an appearance at East Harbor State Park on Lake Erie last week. He had a chance to make several new fans, go for some nice walks (avoiding the dogs), and spend some quality time relaxing in his lawn chair. Moe is looking forward to many more adventures this summer.
This camping trip was much better than the last one. Moe had a great time at Mohican State Park. We had beautiful weather. Moe enjoyed relaxing on the patio under awning, going for walks around the campground (until he sees a dog), and meeting new fans. Moe’s looking forward to his next camping adventure.
Moe had his first camping adventure of the year this week. We traveled up to Lake Loramie State Park to relax for a few day, and for Moe to visit with a few fans. The weather did not co-operate. Winds were gusting over 40 miles per hour. After sustaining minor damage due to a falling tree branch on the Moe Mobile, we headed for home after one night. Moe was very disappointed. We will head out again soon.
Moe is fed up with this weather. He wants to go camping. It’s been dark, dreary, and rainy for the last few days. This weather is really cutting in to his scheduled time to lay in a sunbeam. He said the heck with it, and crawled under the covers.
Today was to nice for Moe to sit around the house, so Moe and I drove over to The Great Miami River Trail to stretch our legs. Sometimes you walk, sometimes you relax, and sometimes you just want to lay on your back with your legs in the air and your belly toward the sun to soak up some rays. Moe did it all.
Moe is having a great start to 2017. He is enjoying the first sunbeam of the New Year, and looking forward to adventures camping, traveling, seeing the world and meeting some of his fans. Moe and his family hopes everybody has a great New Year. Happy 2017!
Moe had a great Christmas morning. Santa brought him a couple new catnip toys and new collar. He had a great time sitting in boxes among all the wrapping paper and watching us open presents. Moe and his family want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas.
Moe needed to visit Dr. Jim this morning at the Tipp City Animal Wellness Center. Moe got into Sally’s sewing stuff and swallowed a piece of thread. We know this because it we could see it hanging out of his butt when he walked around. The last time something like this happened was back in May of 2010. He needed surgery and it cost a little over a thousand dollars. This time
Dr. Jim was able to pull it out of his butt and it cost me $50.
Such is life with Moe.
Moe went camping in Mohican State Park. His fans were a little thin on this trip I think do to the cold and wet weather. Moe is looking forward to many more trips and personal appearances starting next spring.
Moe made a personal appearance at Lake Loramie last week. It wasn’t real crowded, and there wasn’t too many fans around, but Moe enjoyed his time his peaceful outdoors time outdoors, and spending time with nature.
Moe went to visit Sally’s mom Alice Rosenfelt at Grace Brethren Village earlier today. Alice will be 95 next month. As always, Moe was a very gracious visitor, and paid a lot of attention to Grandma.
Moe recently had his yearly visit with Dr. Susan. Moe had a clean bill of health and is in perfect condition. He wasn’t real thrilled receiving his shots, but he likes Dr. Susan.
While he was there he flirted with the office girls, and had a chance to meet some of his fans.
It’s hard to work with the Moe cat sleeping on my keyboard. He takes his position as creative consultant seriously.
Moe is still working on his hibernating skills. He likes to snuggle down in his blanket and sleep all day. He’s dreaming about, and looking forward to his first camping trip in Spring. Not a bad plan for this miserable winter.
Moe has been enjoying this great fall weather with long morning walks. He’s not looking forward to the winter cold and snow. His paws get cold and wet.
Moe just returned from a great camping trip to Mohican State Park. Spent a lot of time relaxing under the awning and watching people and the world go by. Moe’s a great camper.
Moe made a personal appearance in Indiana for the first time. He went camping in Shipshewana, Indiana, and made new friends from Michigan. Several girls from a neighboring campsite came to meet the famous internet personality Moe. They quickly became friends and visited often during our stay. Moe is always delighted to meet new fans.
Moe is back from making a personal appearance at Lake Loramie State Park. He had a great time greeting fans and relaxing around the campsite.
Moe has been out and about, camping at East Harbor State Park on Lake Erie. Moe likes sitting in a lawn chair under the camper awning, watching all the activities going on around the camper. He hopes to make many more camping trips this summer. Maybe the next one will be to Indiana. Moe has never been to Indiana.
